I don’t know much about politics and Obamacare, I just know it’s causing an unrest in America

I’m not to dissimilar with it’s intent but, am sure it’s meant to help. Unfortunately, along the way it effects some people adversely.

All we can do is pray that it works, it’s now law and as Christians, we are to abide by the laws of the Land.

I hope it will help those who need it and do little damage as it seemingly helps. I try to stay out of politics but recently, I became involved because of a personal matter

It involved a young boy, who had no green card. I tried all I could to help him. Then Obama signed a law in effect, stated anyone 30 and below could not be deported.

Like I said, I try and stay out of politics, I know how confusing things can get

But, in this certain law, I think it is just, because children should bot be punished for the mistakes of the parents.

I hope this law will help those in need and I prat Obamacare will not hurt the country anymore theb it already is.

Lord, we in the U.S.A. are in dire need of Your guidance, help those in power make good decisions to help all of us.

Amen!!!!!!!

Our youngest us graduating High School, our baby. I really did not expect the emotional toll it would take on us

I guess the anticipation of the empty nest syndrome is true and it hurts. Our youngest child going out in the world on her on.

I remember when I left home after High School and how hard it was for my parent, I never thought of it until now.

I was so caught up in leaving home and doing what I wanted, when I wanted. I was growing up, on my own and it felt good.

In our walk with God, it’s the same. He lets us go to experience the things of His Kingdom and hopefully, make the right choices

He probably feels the same way we do, when a child becomes grow. He knows that if they maintain what they’ve been taught, they will be okay. The same is with us, if our children will follow our teachings, they will be okay. The Word says, Train a child in they Way he should go….

Lord, help us to lean on You during these shakey times and help us to remember You are our Rock, Shelter and Protector Amen!!!!

His Rest

I have been taking a Sabbatical and today, I feel that it’s over. In the last few months, I have been resting in the arms of God

In Hebrews chapter 4, it talks about the rest in God. The children of Israel could have entered in but, they sinned and never did.

In Hebrews 4:8, it tell that Joshua did mot lead them to that rest. It was still to come.

When we rest, we stop all we are doing and give all the battles in our mind to Him To rest in Him is beyond words, you are refreshed and given new strength beyond measure.

First we must learn to abide, that is the key to entering His rest. I learned when I was on my death bed, that as a creature we have no real power. In that time in ICU, I learned to give it all to Him.

I’m not saying you must be on your death bed, I hope you’re no as stubborn as me. But, we need to learn how to give all our problems and worries to Him, before we can enter His rest.

The way I enter His rest, is set down and play worship music at at low volume and just relax and think on Him. Now this might not work for you, you might not like music.

You must find your own way of entering and just allow His Holy Spirit to soak you in His presence.

Lord, help us to enter Your sacred rest. Sometimes we need to recharge our batterry sort of. Our stength is small but, Yours never ends.
